Xbox had quite the interesting day yesterday. It all started when early in the morning Xbox came out and said it would be increasing the prices of all its Xbox Live options making one month subscriptions increase by $1, three month by $5 and six months by $20, when this came out the gaming community was in a up roar, people were livid left and right and rightfully so, not only were they doing this to drive people off of XBL but they want to boost numbers to incentivizes people to get Gamepass instead, bad move very bad move. Let it be known you need XBL to play Free to Play games like Fortnite on Xbox, well that was the case until last night when it came out that they would be retracting the price increase and also making games like Fortnite not require and Xbox Live Gold subscription to play, this was a prime example of how speaking up and loudly to the developers can actually work when things go wrong and we don’t sit and accept what they give because were “loyal” to the brand, they went about trying to get people to buy Gamepass the wrong way, let the game library do the talking because it is fairly extensive and they add new games every month, I for one currently have it for PC and its mainly for the addition of the Yakuza series coming at the end of the month, so this goes to show if you have something people want or interested in people will come and ill definitely be keeping it when EA Plays in added to it.
